Inform, inspire, celebrate
We pride ourselves on providing leading industry forums and a platform allowing members to discover innovative ideas and develop business.
Our annual national Property Industry Awards is an opportunity for project teams to join together to celebrate exceptional development achievements. This is a night to enjoy fabulous entertainment and refreshments before honouring those who have helped add real value to New Zealand's built environment.
Expect National Conference to bring you new insight, inspiration and understanding of the latest industry trends, and strengthened connections with almost 300 property professionals.
Attend Retail Conference to stay up to date on property trends, technology and implications, tenant demands, leasing challenges and legal issues - find out what retail owners and managers need to know.
Care about sustainable development? Green Property Summit is New Zealand’s foremost green building event and showcases the latest in green building practices. The next summit is being held in March 2017.
Regionally, Property Council holds a mix of educational, networking, political and site tour events. Annual market outlook and political breakfasts are popular on the calendar - hear leading financial institutions and top elected officials share inside information relevant to the industry. Corporate golf days and other networking opportunities are an excellent way to treat your colleagues or clients and engage with industry peers.
Women In Property helps connect women working in the property sector. Members attend motivational and informative presentations and networking events in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Waikato.
Future Directions is our dedicated networking group for those under 35, or just young at heart. Interactive activities such as golf days, lawn bowls and quiz nights, with the occasional motivational speaker included in the mix are events to watch out for. Politically incorrect costumes make a regular appearance, so come prepared!
Upcoming regional events can be viewed in the events calendar.
Get involved, sponsor an event
Sponsorship provides essential support for Property Council at a national and regional level, and contributes to the overall success of the organisation.
This is a key avenue to reach members and gain brand exposure. Property Council sponsors enjoy a multitude of benefits pre and post an event, including coverage in local and national press on occasion - although we cannot guarantee this for every event. Sponsorship provides an opportunity to connect with like-minded business people, build relationships, and utilise brand messages to motivate employees and enhance corporate standing.
Sponsorship of events provides an environment to showcase your brand in a dynamic way and highlight products, services and corporate initiatives to a broad audience at events and via electronic and hard copy marketing. Event sponsors provide vital funds to assist in the staging of events themselves to provide members with the most up to date, topical and relevant events in the industry.
At a national level, principal and family level support options are available, including the Property Industry Awards, Retail Conference, National Conference and Green Property Summit. Please contact Lauren Hunter if interested.
At a regional level, we welcome support by one or more sponsors. We are open to sponsorship of event series. If you are interested in getting involved at a regional level, please contact the relevant branches - details are available on the dedicated branch pages.
Corporate sponsorship is also available - read more information here.
We welcome media interest in our events. If you are a journalist and you would like to attend one of our events, please contact Alex Voutratzis. To ensure you have access to relevant information and interviews, please provide us with as much information as possible about your organisation, audience and interest areas.
Please note, each request is handled on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of Property Council and our speakers. We will attempt to provide access to the event and speakers, however spaces for journalists may be limited. View our media policy for more information.
