Wellington City Council is proposing a rates differential increase from 3.25 to 3.7 in this year’s Annual Plan. The proposal will see the average residential and commercial rate increase by 8.9%.

 

Property Council strongly opposes the increase to the rating differential as this will have negative outcomes for Wellington’s private sector at a time where we should be supporting businesses to bring life back to the CBD.
