How can partnerships unlock the delivery of more homes?
At the 2027 Residential Development Summit, Mindy Wight, CEO of Nch’ḵay̓ Development Corporation, will share insights from Sen̓áḵw, one of North America’s most ambitious residential developments.
An artist’s impression of Sen̓áḵw, the Squamish Nation-led development in Vancouver.
Opening the summit with Nation-Building Through Partnership, Wight will explore how the Squamish Nation and Nch’ḵay̓ Development Corporation are delivering more than 6,000 homes through a landmark First Nations-led development in the heart of Vancouver.
Her keynote will unpack the project’s origins, the partnership model behind its delivery, and the opportunities and challenges of creating a high-density community. From collaboration and long-term vision to innovative approaches to development, Sen̓áḵw offers valuable perspectives for those working to accelerate housing delivery and shape thriving urban communities.
The keynote sets the scene for two days of discussion at the Residential Development Summit, bringing together leaders from across housing, infrastructure and development to explore the challenges and opportunities facing Aotearoa New Zealand.
Developers, iwi, councils, government and industry innovators will come together to discuss housing delivery, planning reform and infrastructure funding, with real-world case studies and global perspectives informing the conversation.
Join us on 17–18 March 2027 at the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) to connect with the people shaping the future of residential development and explore smarter, faster pathways to progress.
