Big news for Catalyst Group

As founders Nigel Shaw & Colin Depree step back from day-to-day business to enjoy a well-earned break, Grant Heighway will take the helm as Catalyst Group NZ Limited’s Managing Director from 1st October.
This change marks a smooth ownership transition as part of Nigel & Colin’s retirement planning.

AVJennings joins AVID Property Group – NZ leadership team confirmed

Following the recent acquisition of AVJennings by AVID Property Group, Ara Hills in Ōrewa has officially become AVID’s flagship New Zealand development.
AVID – one of Australia’s leading residential developers – has reaffirmed its commitment to the New Zealand market by backing the all-female leadership team already in place at Ara Hills.
Project Director Katelyn Orton continues to lead the local team, with Monica De Magalhaes recently promoted to Senior Development Manager. Joanna Carswell also remains in her role as Sales and Marketing Manager, continuing to drive engagement and sales activity across the community.
Together, the team brings deep experience across masterplanned development, strategic delivery, and community-building. AVID’s expansion into New Zealand signals fresh momentum and long-term investment in Ara Hills, while the team’s focus on quality, thoughtful design, and community wellbeing remains unchanged.
The acquisition strengthens AVID’s position as a key player in the New Zealand residential market.
Jasmax announce 11 promotions



Jasmax are pleased to announce a new round of promotions across its studios, recognising the outstanding contributions the people make to Jasmax and the impact they have on projects, clients and culture.

Nicky is based in Auckland; however, her role is nationally focused, covering all Rubix office locations across NZ.
Sally Holgate joins Wingates as Principal

Prendos welcomes Steven Woodman as new COO

Colliers promotions

Experienced economist Hamish Fitchett has joined Colliers in Auckland as the new National Director of Research & Economics, replacing property industry veteran Ian Little who is retiring.
Fitchett brings expertise in economic modelling and forecasting, having most recently worked at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. He also spent two years in London, where his consultancy work focused on economic regulation and demand forecasting for leading corporate clients.

Commercial and industrial property specialist Duncan Bell has joined Colliers as a Director of Investment Sales, based in Pukekohe.
Duncan brings strong local knowledge and more than seven years of experience in commercial real estate to the role. This is complemented by his broad career background which includes service in the New Zealand Army and police, as well as playing professional rugby overseas.

After a working holiday abroad Hannah Soroka has returned to the award-winning Colliers Highbrook team as an Industrial Sales and Leasing Broker, where she will focus on the busy Wiri and Manukau industrial precincts.
Soroka previously worked with the business as a Team Assistant at Highbrook, and in the Occupier Services team.
