RDT Pacific are pleased to announce that Mike Taylor has taken on the Southern Lead role in the Ōtautahi Christchurch office, where he will be responsible for South Island operations together with ongoing responsibilities in Te Whanganui a Tara Wellington. Mike is excited to return to his roots in Christchurch, where he started his career in the construction industry. The Ōtautahi team is looking forward to working with Mike and their valued clients and projects in Christchurch are in good hands.

Hotel veteran Derrek Anderson joins Colliers
Armed with extensive global experience in hotel development, Derrek Anderson has joined Colliers as the Director of Hotel Valuation and Brokerage.
Anderson will work as the brokerage lead for Colliers as part of a specialised team that includes Chris Bennett, Director of Hotel Advisory & Valuation.
“This is an exciting opportunity to work in another corner of the hotel sector and I am really looking forward to building on my existing connections in the industry in this role at Colliers,” Anderson says.
“The hotel sector is where I have spent a majority of my professional career and it is a dynamic space that is filled with great people.”

Lucy Robinson promoted to special counsel
Ōtautahi property lawyer Lucy Robinson has been promoted to special counsel.
A senior associate at Anthony Harper since 2021, Lucy specialises in commercial property, dealing with portfolio transactions and real estate investment. She acts for a wide range of clients and manages diverse commercial property matters, including nationwide investments, complex acquisitions, and lease management. Lucy is dual-qualified as a solicitor, having been admitted to the bar in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom.
Managing Partner Ed Dunphy says that Lucy’s appointment reflects her outstanding proficiency, dedication and contribution to the firm.
