New CEO for Calder Stewart
Calder Stewart announces the appointment of Gareth Husband as CEO | CS Operations.
Gareth will join Calder Stewart from Citycare Water and brings a wealth of leadership experience across the infrastructure and construction sectors. His career includes senior leadership roles with Downer, Fulton Hogan, including an international appointment, providing him with extensive industry knowledge and a strong track record of delivering results through people-focused leadership.

Having wrapped up her time at Kainga Ora – Homes and Communities after six years focusing on the Auckland housing Programme, Kamelia Haydon joins Auckland urban Development Office City Centre Team as Priority Location Director – City Centre to help shape a connected prosperous and inclusive City Centre for Tamaki Makaurau.

Boffa Miskell welcome Tony Horton to the team
Tony Horton has joined Boffa Miskell as a Principal Planner. With more than 20 years’ experience, Tony has led complex strategic and spatial planning projects focused on long-term growth, regional and district planning, city centre revitalisation, and infrastructure investment. He brings extensive expertise in integrating land use and transport outcomes, having worked on major transport corridors, regional transport plans, business cases, and infrastructure strategies.
Drawing on experience across both local and central government, Tony is skilled at leading multidisciplinary teams and working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver successful planning outcomes.

Ash Burkhart has been appointed Chief Executive of Livingstone Building
Ash Burkhart brings extensive leadership experience to the position, joining Livingstone in 2022. He steps into the role after 18 months as General Manager for the upper North Island, where he led the teams behind projects including Fonterra HQ at North Bloc, The Hive at St Paul’s Collegiate, Te Kete Aronui Rototuna Library for Hamilton City Council, and the Laminex OSB plant in Taupō.

JLL welcomes Damon Pere as new head of Value and Risk Advisory, New Zealand
Damon returns to New Zealand after six years with JLL in London, most recently as head of UK & Northern Europe Hotels and Long Income in the Value & Risk Advisory team. There, he grew the valuation business and worked across complex advisory mandates for institutional clients, as well as some of Europe’s leading hospitality assets.
In his new role, Damon will lead the strategic development of JLL’s value and risk advisory services in New Zealand with a focus on expanding capabilities in specialist operational real estate sectors.
