Mike Woods and Mike Price to lead Commercial Property Management at Prendos
Prendos Director Mike Woods and Building Surveyor Mike Price are driving the firm’s recent expansion into commercial property management.
Woods says the move was a natural progression for the company, given the pool of relevant expertise within the team, and their frequent involvement in acquisitions of commercial property.
A second catalyst was the appointment of Price last year. With over 15 years’ experience in property management, including managing large property portfolios in the UK, Price’s experience in international best practice was invaluable in shaping Prendos’ approach.
Together, Woods and Price coordinate a nationwide team of local Prendos specialists, supported by an extensive network of trusted contractors, with more than $40 million of commercial property already under management.
Sarah Livingstone has been appointed Livingstone’s Contracts, Growth and Partnerships Manager
Sarah’s 17-year career has focused on client-side construction project management and land development, from feasibility and planning through to design management, procurement, contract administration and risk management.
She joined Livingstone in 2023 as an Executive Director on the Board and Pre-Construction Manager. Most recently, as GM Pre-Construction & Design, she led the company’s ECI and design and build opportunities.
In her new role, Sarah will lead Livingstone’s growth strategy, client and partner relationships, contract management, tenders, marketing and sponsorship programme across its five regions.
“Most of the work we win starts long before a tender is released. It starts with people who know us and trust how we deliver. I’m looking forward to putting more time into those relationships, and the partnerships and sponsorships that connect us to our communities.”
Congratulations, Sarah!
Cottee Parker announces two new appointments
Cottee Parker is delighted to announce a further two pivotal appointments, strengthening its leadership team and reflecting the practice’s continued growth across Australia and New Zealand.
Murray Jervis has joined Cottee Parker as Principal and Interiors lead for New Zealand. With 40 years’ experience across New Zealand, the UK and Europe, Murray brings an impressive depth of expertise across workplace, retail, banking, aviation, transport and government. Murray joins Cottee Parker to lead the next phase of growth for the New Zealand interiors practice – strengthening the team, expanding their standalone interiors capability and bringing interiors and architecture together to create more integrated outcomes for clients.
The appointment of Colin Odbert as Principal marks an exciting step for the Sydney studio, bringing proven leadership in major commercial developments and a strong track record of turning ambitious design into successful built outcomes. With more than 25 years in architecture, Colin has led complex commercial and mixed-use projects across Australia, including Sydney’s Cockle Bay Park, Barrack Place and 1 Parramatta Square, alongside Brisbane’s 101 Albert Street.
Donovan Wick joins Auckland Airport
Congratulations to Donovin Wick, valued event committee member at Property Council New Zealand, on his new role as Development Manager at Auckland Airport.
After nearly seven years with Argosy Property Limited, where he contributed to significant projects including the transformation of 8 Willis and Stewart Dawson’s Corner in Wellington, Donovin brings a wealth of experience to this next chapter. We’re delighted to see him take on this exciting opportunity and look forward to seeing the impact of his work on one of New Zealand’s most important gateways.
Best wishes, Donovin, for this next chapter!
TSA Riley welcome Project Director Gokul Krishnan
For Gokul Krishnan, project delivery in high-stakes settings has become a career-long focus. Joining TSA Riley as Project Director, he brings 15 years’ experience helping deliver some of Aotearoa’s most significant infrastructure developments, including Project Pihi Kaha at Whangārei Hospital, the Christchurch Hospital Redevelopment, Auckland Airport’s terminal expansion and data centres.
While each project presents its own highly technical challenges, Gokul says the key to successful delivery is surprisingly human. “Rigorous planning and setting a project up for success from day one are important, but projects are ultimately delivered by people. Building trust, fostering strong relationships and effective communication are key, especially on projects of this scale.”
Congratulations, Gokul.
