Meet Nicola Black, CKL’s new Engineering Manager in Hamilton
Having started her career as a surveyor before moving into civil engineering, Nicola’s broad engineering experience covers both infrastructure and land development, including Three Waters, earthworks and utilities, with projects spanning initial concept and design through to construction and completion. Most recently, Nicola was civil lead for two of the three new Drury rail stations supporting Auckland’s growing southern communities.
In her new role, Nicola will lead CKL’s Hamilton engineering team while working closely with their wider multidisciplinary teams across the Waikato, Auckland and Bay of Plenty.
For Nicola, joining CKL was also an opportunity to get back to working closer to home and contributing to the region she lives in.
“I really like that CKL is genuinely working in the Waikato. You can look out the window of our office and see projects CKL has been involved in. CKL already has a strong reputation, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to continue that.”
Congratulations, Nicola!
