Andrew Coppersmith joins Oyster Property Group

Congratulations to Andrew Coppersmith who was recently appointed as Property Manager – Commercial at Oyster Property Group in Wellington.
Having graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 2014 (B.Com), Andrew now has over five years’ experience in both property and facilities management fields. Andrew recently worked at Rolle Property overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and industrial properties across Greater Wellington. Andrew’s extensive experience spans from representing private tenants to managing properties for central government landlords. He’s adept at overseeing property refurbishments and negotiating leases for both private and public landlords.
Outside of work, Andrew indulges his passion for cricket and unwinds by watching his favorite team, Arsenal, play, even during early morning matches from afar.

TBIG welcome new Central Otago Lead, based in Queenstown

Matt Cowen has returned to TBIG as the new Central Otago Lead, based in Queenstown.
Matt has spent the last 18 months abroad leading large scale and ambitious projects in Vancouver. He’s excited to return to TBIG, where he has worked across several of our offices since 2015.
“Returning to Queenstown is a feeling like no other, particularly after spending some time travelling you get to realise just how special New Zealand, and particularly Central Otago, is. This new role is a fantastic opportunity to build on our strong existing relationships in the industry, and to grow plenty of new ones too. Eke Panuku Development Auckland directors appointed

Auckland Council has appointed Brett Ellison and Aaron Hockly as directors of Eke Panuku Development Auckland.
The council sought candidates with experience in the property industry relevant to the governance of Eke Panuku, experience in driving outcomes from board level and the ability to work in regulatory frameworks. Council also sought candidates who would bring expertise in iwi relationships, understanding of Te Ao Māori and tikanga Māori, legal expertise and experience of health and safety.
Councillor Greg Sayers chaired the selection panel and welcomes the appointments.
“I am pleased to welcome Mr Ellison and Mr Hockly to the Auckland Council whanau as two seasoned property professionals with the leadership skills and experience to provide real strength to the Eke Panuku board. They each bring a set of skills that will complement the existing board members and support the good governance of this organisation, with Mr Ellison providing the board with a strong Māori perspective and Mr Hockly bringing legal expertise,” says Cr Sayers.
