Lee Dove Joins Veros as Principal Advisor

Veros is thrilled to welcome Lee Dove as a Principal Advisor at their Tauranga office. With over 20 years of experience in property development in both New Zealand and the UK, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership skills to the team. 

Previously at a major urban development consultancy, Lee held key roles such as National Survey Manager and Technical Director. He excels at leading land development projects and developing innovative solutions that benefit both communities and the environment. His deep knowledge of planning laws and commitment to sustainable development make him an invaluable asset to Veros’ ongoing growth and success.

Lee is eager to apply his extensive expertise at Veros, and the team is equally excited to have him on board. 

Alain McKinney returns to Colliers

Armed with 30 years of experience in the property sector, Alain McKinney has returned to Colliers as the new National Director of Strategic Advisory. 

Having worked in agency, tenant representation, and project development, McKinney has covered multiple sectors of the real estate market. 

He worked for Colliers in England and Ireland between 1997 and 2002 and in New Zealand approximately 10 years ago when he was focused on project management. 

McKinney most recently worked for Precinct Properties as a Project Director and is looking forward to reconnecting with some former colleagues. 

Colliers welcomes Sarah White

Sarah White has joined Colliers as the Director of People & Performance. 

White has extensive experience in talent acquisition and management, having previously led the careers team at Lion as Head of Talent Acquisition ANZ where she developed and executed Lion’s talent acquisition and mobility strategy across Australia and New Zealand. 

Prior to her 10 years at Lion, White held positions in consulting and management, specialising in recruiting team members to work in human resources and accounting. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management, from the University of Otago. 

Nikko Boxall appointed as a Broker

Colliers is pleased to welcome Nikko Boxall to the Investment Sales team as a Broker, based in Auckland CBD.  

Having spent the better part of the past 13 years overseas through studying and then playing professional football, he says now is the time to settle back in New Zealand. 

Boxall will focus on the southern fringe of the Auckland CBD and has received guidance from Associate Director of Investment Sales Ned Gow who has extensive experience in that area. 

Colliers Retail Leasing welcomes Danielle McLaughlin

The Colliers Retail Leasing team has welcomed Danielle McLaughlin into a brokerage role with a focus on Auckland’s south-eastern suburbs. 

McLaughlin joined the Retail Leasing team as a Team Assistant in 2023 while she was completing her Bachelor of Property at the University of Auckland. 

During her time in that role, McLaughlin developed an extensive knowledge of Auckland’s retail scene and was exposed to over 100 transactions, which gave her the opportunity to gain experience with the leasing process. 

Echo Cai joins NAI Harcourts

Congratulations to Echo Cai who was recently appointed as Head of Commercial Property Management at NAI Harcourts Cooper & Co in Takapuna Auckland.

With over 17 years’ experience in the real estate industry, Echo brings a wealth knowledge and a proven track record in optimizing property performance and enhancing asset values through effective lease and vacancy management and tenant retention strategies. Echo is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and maximizing property values for her clients.

In her new role, Echo will lead and upskill a talented team of commercial property managers. Her strategic insights and commitment to excellence will make a positive impact on driving the success of the commercial portfolio managed by the company.

BPM appoint new project manager

Project Manager, Mason Popata joins the South Island team at BPM, working with the Motueka office, overseeing projects from Motueka to Queenstown.

Mason is a skilled Project Manager that has a background in Project Engineering. He came to us fresh off a big project in the Solomon Islands with the Pacific Maritime Security Program in Honiara. Based in the Motueka office, Mason is there with boots-on-the-ground to support projects throughout the South Island. As a Project Manager, Mason strives to create a safe, inclusive space that encourages the sharing of ideas. He’s a great listener and collaborator, that brings a spark of creativity and knowledge to the table.
