Emerging Leadership at Inovo
A new financial year has brought some exciting changes to Inovo.  Alice Fruean, Dave Robinson and Stephen Peters have stepped from Associate to Partner positions.Â

Alice Fruean started with Inovo in 2016 as a Project Manager before transitioning into Project Planning. She works in a senior capacity as Project Services Manager to support public sector and commercial clients with the implementation of planning process and controls in the delivery of complex projects.  In 2020 Inovo supported Alice to complete her Master of Business Administration, and in 2023 she was promoted to Associate.Â

Dave Robinson is an accomplished land development leader who specialises in development engineering, digital design, contract management, cadastral surveying and engineering surveying. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including Survey and Spatial New Zealand Young Surveyor of the Year 2019 and was included in the xyHt top 40 spatial professionals under 40 in 2020. Dave is Engineering Team Manager at Inovo.Â

Stephen Peters has become firmly established as a respected Senior Project Manager in large scale Auckland projects – most recently as Internal Project Manager/Project Director at Totara Haumaru – the new build at North Shore Hospital’s campus.
Ryan Croy, Director and General Manager at Inovo says that the appointments reflect the commitment that the three have shown to Inovo, their leadership skills and demonstration of business development acumen. “All three were identified early as future leaders at Inovo” he says “we are so pleased to be able to give Stephen, Alice and Dave these opportunities and the new Partnerships definitely reflect the forward momentum that Inovo has.”Â
Alongside the Partnership appointments, Inovo is also pleased to announce two new Associates – Rob Taylor and Jesse Parkinson. Both Jesse and Rob lead and manage Inovo teams and have been recognised both within Inovo and in the wider land development / infrastructure development sectors as experts in their field. Rob Taylor is Surveying Team Lead, while Jesse is Construction Planning Lead, both based in Inovo’s Christchurch office.Â

Corin Anderson, Aliesha Prestage, and Jesse Steer – Associate PromotionsÂ
Corin, Aliesha, and Jesse have each been promoted to Associate, a recognition of their outstanding leadership, collaboration, and dedication to shaping the future of our practice. In their new roles, they will continue to inspire and support project teams, ensuring the continued success of our work.
Ryan Duthie – Associate DirectorÂ
Ryan brings an exceptional depth of experience and steady leadership to the Associate Director role, where he will be focused on team leadership, project excellence, and strengthening our client partnership
Shara Paulo – Studio Lead & Associate DirectorÂ
Shara Paulo has been promoted to the role of Tauranga Studio Lead. In this role Shara brings a clear vision for growth, a strong design voice and her trademark Wellness expertise. Shara will be key in shaping the future of the Ignite practice and steering the team towards future success.Â
Steve Cropp – Studio Lead & Associate DirectorÂ
Steve Cropp steps into the role of Studio Lead for our vibrant Wellington Studio, where his calm leadership and technical professionalism adds massive value to the team. His expanded responsibilities will play a pivotal role in guiding the studio’s growth and shaping our future in the local area.Â
Tony Allsop starts new chapter

Management & Consultancy business, Asset Metro Limited. Starting Colliers back in 1996 as a senior asset manager and then moved up to a National Manager role, his impact has been widely felt

James Riddoch appointed Commercial Barrister at Canterbury Chambers
After 11 years with Greenwood Roche in Christchurch where he led the firm’s work with Kainga Ora’s Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Programme, James Riddoch has now moved to the bar to join Canterbury Chambers as a Commercial Barrister. As a commercial barrister James remains a front-end construction and project specialist with a side in procurement and probity.Â
