Three key Wingate promotions
Wingates recently announced the promotions of several key staff in both their Auckland and Tauranga studios. James Suter to Principal, Victor Chen and Michael Carter to Associate.
From joining Wingates in 2022, Suter has quickly established himself as a Key Architectural leader within their Large Format Architecture team. His work with key clients – including Foodstuffs and National Storage – is well regarded and he is well respected by his team members, clients, and the wider market. The Wingates leadership team see his promotion to Principal as hugely exciting, providing clear direction and design excellence for this integral part of their business.
Chen’s move to Associate after 2 years with the business is hugely welcomed. His contributions to Wingates as a natural leader, Designer, and valued team member have been significant, with his remit and project responsibilities successfully covering many of their sectors from Large Format Retail to several key Workplace Interior Projects.
As one of the Practice’s Young Leaders, Carter has quickly made his mark and is seen as a gifted designer who has quickly established himself as a key member in the Tauranga and Bay of Plenty team. His promotion to Associate is seen by Wingates as a reflection of his work to date and the clear potential he shows in his interactions and leadership on the projects he is delivering across the country.
“It’s a delight to announce the promotions of James, Victor, and Michael. They all have a strong Architectural focus and a team commitment to our clients, consultants, and construction companies. These three outstanding individuals have impressed me with their work ethic and “not-a-problem” can-do attitude. Congratulations and thank you for all your efforts, particularly over the last six months”. – David Wingate (Managing Director)
