National Conference brings in the big guns
Property Council New Zealand’s 2018 National Conference launched with a hiss and a roar this week with the announcement that former Prime Minister Helen Clark will be joining a strong speaker line up.
Ms Clark, best known as New Zealand’s 37th Prime Minister as well as for her work as Administrator to the United Nations Development Programme, will be speaking on increasing diversity in governance and business, shifting the perception of property as a “rich man’s game” and enabling the New Zealand property industry to foster innovation. She will be supported by a strong line up of respected speakers over a three-day programme taking place from Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 August at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre.
Located just 2.5 hours from Auckland, Rotorua is far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to offer those starting out in property an affordable conference destination with plenty of adventure. Activities and site tours have already been confirmed - with everything from whitewater rafting and mountain biking to a site tour of local developments – you will be forced to re-think Rotorua!
All members are encouraged to save the date, confer with your colleagues and be sure to register upon opening next month. This is one conference not to be missed!
