Introducing Rubix

Rubix is the coming together of three established and respected project management firms: The Project Office in Christchurch, N-Compass in Auckland, and Peak Projects in Queenstown.

Directors Peter Chudleigh, Sam Davis, Andrew Haig, Brett Heaven, Peter Sewell and Peter Soundy relate the story of how Rubix came to be, and what value it offers its clients:

Recognising that we shared common values and a strategic approach to our work, we knew we could better serve our clients, and all of New Zealand, by working together under one brand. We’ve spent the better part of a year nutting out exactly what that brand is. Now, with a new identity and a clear set of aspirations and values, we can proudly say we are Rubix.

“We’re here to journey with our clients to realise projects that improve lives and landscapes.”

With almost a thousand projects delivered throughout New Zealand, our new consolidated brand is founded on a huge depth and breadth of expertise.

We recognise that each project reflects a unique set of choices and constraints, ambitions and opportunities. We’re passionate about working with every variable – strategic, technical and human – in order to unlock the greatest potential possible. That means thinking with courage and curiosity; matching strategic conviction with organisational agility, and championing a sustainable mindset.

It also means working in partnership, always moving together with our clients towards the realisation of their goals. It’s our belief that every project has the potential to make our world work better. We’re here to journey with our clients to make that potential possible.

“3 offices, more than 50 project experts, over 950 projects delivered throughout New Zealand.”

With over 50 project experts located in Queenstown, Christchurch and Auckland we can now pool our resources and thinking, to bring the best of all minds to each client’s ambition.

Our clients benefit from our independent specialist advice, strategic leadership, full service capabilities, relational working style and nationwide reach. We are across every phase of the project lifecycle including:

  • Project Management
  • Master Planning
  • Design Management
  • Construction Management
  • Procurement
  • Risk Analysis
  • Business Case Development
  • Tenancy Co-ordination
  • Fit-out Management
  • Value Management

We’re excited about what the future holds. Rubix is both a fresh start, and a cementing of long-established values, skills and ambitions. Having launched officially in November 2019, our next chapter is about making this a meaningful change for our clients, existing and new.
