Have your say: Draft Building Product Specifications now open for feedback

MBIE is inviting industry input on the proposed product standards and references included in the first edition of its Building Product Specifications – a key step in making it easier to use a wider variety of building products in Aotearoa New Zealand.

This marks the first of three new regulatory pathways aimed at improving flexibility and innovation in the sector. Once implemented, these specifications will support the use of more products that comply with the Building Code, opening the door to greater choice and efficiency in building projects.

Submissions close at 5pm, Monday 23 June.
