Celebrating the Future of Property: 2026 South Island Education Trust Grant Recipients Announced

In a significant boost to professional development across the region’s property sector, Property Council New Zealand is proud to announce the 17 recipients of the 2026 South Island Education Trust Grants.

This year’s successful applicants hail from a diverse range of roles and organisations across the South Island, reflecting the depth of talent and commitment to excellence within the property industry.

The South Island Education Trust Grant initiative aims to empower emerging and established professionals alike through access to top-tier industry events and training programs. Each grant includes financial support for event or course fees, as well as a travel allowance of up to $750 + GST – enabling South Island-based members to gain national exposure and stay at the forefront of property sector leadership and innovation.

Eligible events include The Property Conference, Reset ESG Summit, RECON/Retail Conference, and the full suite of DevelopU training courses. This tailored approach ensures that each recipient can select a professional development experience that aligns with their career goals and area of expertise.

“The Education Trust Grant is about more than just funding – it’s about creating a ripple effect of learning, connection, and inspiration,” says Property Council chief executive Leonie Freeman. “We’re investing in the people who are shaping the future of our cities and communities.”
