Hear the inspiring journeys of three diverse females who have taken on the property industry as well as their thoughts on the challenges the industry is facing in Christchurch at present and in the coming years.
Liz is a residential landlord who bought her first rental property 34 years ago and has continued to build her portfolio ever since. Today she houses almost 700 people in her various types of accommodation and employs around 27 staff. She is still increasing her portfolio along with rebuilding the properties she lost in the Christchurch earthquakes. Even after 34 years Liz thoroughly enjoys her career in the property industry.

Winner of the 2017 Southern Excellence Awards Young Achiever of the Year, Fiona is a passionate and skilled designer. With a focus and understanding on environmental sustainability, urban design and social impact, Fiona is driven by her desire to make a positive impact in the property industry.
Strategic Property Analyst, Christchurch City Council
Rebecka has worked in the property industry for almost ten years and has managed a wide range of portfolios in the public sector where she has provided strategic advice regarding asset management and provision. Not letting the grass grow under her feet, Rebecka is currently studying towards a Master of Science in Decision, Risk and Policy Analysis.
This event will be facilitated by Kristen Neri, Architectural Design Manager at Taylors Development Strategists, and member of the Women in Property committee.
