Property Finance 
Belinda Blackmore | Relationship Manager | Property Finance | ASB
Belinda is Relationship Manager for ASB Property Finance, having worked in Property funding for past 15 years in this region. Works with a range of property developers and investors in meeting their funding requirements. She has experienced both extremes of the property clock, when at its peak, and at its lowest point during the GFC. She will speak on current issues being faced in the funding market and possible impact for investors/ developers as a result of that.

Commerical Law 
Kate Searancke | Senior Associate | Tompkins Wake
Kate is a senior Commercial Lawyer specialising in leasing and commercial property transactions. Kate works  with developers and investors across their commercial property portfolio's to facilitate the sale and acquisition of property including due diligence and financing. Of Ngati Maniapoto descent, Kate has a strong focus on her own iwi interests and the wider Maori community and is a representative for her hapu Ngawaero on Waipa District Council's consultative committee Nga Iwi o Topu o Waipa. Kate will share some insight on current legal issues in the commercial property sphere, particularly in the context of new developments.

Planning & Engineering
Melissa Slatter |Technical Director | Beca
Melissa has worked in the planning and resource management sector of local and central government for the past 18 years, primarily in transport and infrastructure planning.  More recently Melissa has been supporting Hamilton City Council and the Ruakura Structure Plan developers to reach agreement on the funding, timing and development of key strategic infrastructure to unlock this growth cell. Melissa will talk briefly about what challenges face the industry to deliver special housing areas and the necessary infrastructure to support it. 

Architectural / Design
Jane Hill |Director, Registered Architect |Chow:Hill
Jane joined Chow:Hill in 2002, following three years working on a mix of residential and educational architectural projects in London Jane returned to the Hamilton office in 2010. Since then Jane have been focused on the continual enhancement and leadership of Chow:Hill's knowledge and skill base in areas of student centric tertiary learning and work place strategy with a number of innovative projects now completed in these increasingly blended environments. Jane will update the members on the challenges and opportunities currently facing the design industry with a particular focus on stakeholder engagement, collaborative design outcomes and designing to inspire change and innovation.

Commercial Property Management
Karlene Verryt | Finance and Property Manager | D.V Bryant Trust
Karlene was appointed Finance and Property Manager for the Trust in July 2013.  Prior to arriving in the Waikato she was the Financial Controller for South Port NZ, working in the transport/logistics industry.  She has experience working for charities in the Waikato and is a Chartered Accountant with Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia NZ. Karlene will provide an insight into the Commercial Management of Property,  and the challenges facing this sector of the Industry, as well as sharing some highlights of community work that the Trust supports in the Waikato.
