Celebrating
50 Years of
City Shaping
Built to Last
Join us for a night of celebration!
Slip on your platforms and dust off the flares — we’re taking it back to 1976, the year Property Council New Zealand began its journey of shaping cities where communities thrive.
To honour five decades of people, places and achievements, we’re hosting a groovy 50th anniversary party you won’t want to miss. Expect a night filled with stories, laughter, and a touch of retro sparkle as we toast the past and look to the future of our built environment.
🎟️ Registration is open!
Tickets are available right now for Members only.
Numbers are limited, so don’t leave it till the last dance!
The evening includes:
🥂 A toast to our past, present and future
🥂 Tales from the “city shapers” who’ve defined our industry
🥂 Fabulous food, drinks and a soundtrack straight from the era – cocktail style so you can mix and mingle with ease!
Dress:
1970s Glam
Bring your inner disco diva or suave ‘70s icon to life: bold prints, flared trousers, jumpsuits, wrap dresses, platform shoes, velvet jackets, big collars, and a hint of shimmer.
Think Studio 54 (minus the debauchery!)
Cocktail attire with a retro twist works too — just make it funky!
Aiming for balance
While the 70s might have been male-dominated, here in 2025, we know the best ideas come from a mix of voices.
That’s why we back the 40:40:20 Pledge — 40% men, 40% women, 20% either. When sending invites, aim for balance.
Together, we’ll spark stronger conversations and showcase the full talent of our industry.
