On 23 February 2024, Property Council submitted on the Draft Canterbury Regional Land Transport Plan. The Canterbury Regional Land Transport Plan guides land transport planning and investment within the region.
Why this matters to our members
Property Council advocates for the creation and retention of a well-designed, functional and sustainable built environment. Certainty in transport is needed for our members, given it is a key facilitator for development and investment in Canterbury.
Our view
Property Council supported the overall messaging in the draft Plan however we recommended that it adopt a wider infrastructure approach and outline clear project principles to create a well-rounded transport system.
