While we believe the proposals are reasonable, we make several recommendations to help ensure a fair distribution of fees can occur amongst all ratepayers such as;
- investigating targeted rates and special purpose vehicles; and
- ring-fencing DC revenue to the local area that DC charges are located.
We also note that future work of EHU’s will occur and seek early engagement with the Council on any proposed future workstreams that relate to development contributions.
