On April 24 2024, Property Council provided a letter of submission to Waipa District Council on their proposed Enhanced Annual Plan 2024/25.
Why this matters to our members
Property Council advocates for the creation and retention of a well-designed, functional and sustainable built environment. The direction set out in this year’s Enhanced Annual Plan, as well as next year’s Long Term Plan, will help shape property-related outcomes across the Waipa District.
Our view
Property Council is supportive of the Council’s proposed direction, particularly in terms of a responsible approach to development contributions. We recommended developing alternative funding/financing tools for next year’s Long-term Plan.
