Are you ready to step up, speak out, and shape the direction of New Zealand’s property sector? Now’s your chance.
Nominations are now open for Property Council’s 2025–26 National Board and Committee positions, running from 1–22 August 2025. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a passionate emerging leader, this is your opportunity to influence the future of our industry.
Following the implementation of our updated Constitution and Bylaws in 2021, Property Council has embraced a more modern, inclusive, and transparent governance structure. With streamlined nomination and election processes, we’re inviting motivated members from across Aotearoa to get involved, bring their voice to the table, and represent the collective interests of the property community.
Why put your name forward?
Joining a Property Council committee means more than just attending meetings. It’s about:
- Leading from the front – Show your organisation and industry that you’re committed to progress.
- Influencing real outcomes – Provide insight into the issues that matter most to the property sector and your business.
- Expanding your network – Build meaningful relationships with peers, industry leaders, and government stakeholders.
- Growing your professional profile – Contribute to high-impact initiatives and boost your reputation within the sector.
- Learning and collaboration – Work alongside a diverse group of members to tackle complex issues and share knowledge.
These positions are highly sought after, and with only limited seats available, it’s time to take the next step in your leadership journey.
Committees open for nomination:
- Auckland Regional Committee
- Central Regional Committee
- Wellington Regional Committee
- South Island Regional Committee
- Retail Committee
- Diversity & Inclusion Committee
- National Board
If more nominations are received than positions available, a member vote will be held via email. Successful appointments will be announced at our Annual General Meeting on 19 September 2025.
