Jessica Middleton joins Foley Douglas as Special Counsel
Hamilton-based law firm Foley Douglas has appointed Jessica Middleton as Special Counsel.
Middleton brings extensive experience across corporate and commercial law, with a practical, problem-solving approach and a real focus on finding clear, workable outcomes for clients.
Admitted to the bar in 2015, Middleton advises clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, building long-term relationships that support them from start-up or purchase through growth, management and governance, and on to succession or sale. She has a particular interest in intellectual property, as well as commercial contracts and business structuring.

Nick Meyer steps up at Rubix
Nick Meyer has been promoted to Senior Project Manager at Rubix, based in the company’s Queenstown office.
Meyer has spent the past five years with Rubix, playing a key role in how the company shows up and delivers for its clients and the community. His work spans building bespoke frameworks for complex project environments, mentoring emerging project managers, and raising the Rubix profile in the right conversations. The promotion to senior project manager reflects Meyer’s genuine energy and dedication and recognises a role he has well and truly earned.
Inovo strengthens South Island leadership team
As Inovo’s South Island project management team grows, the company is expanding its leadership structure to maintain responsive service, experienced oversight and consistent delivery for clients.
Scott Hoare has been appointed project director – project delivery, leading technical excellence, quality and project capability across the team.
Stephen Threadgall has been appointed project director – operational delivery, focusing on people, performance and development to ensure the right capability and support is in place to meet clients’ evolving needs.
For clients, the appointments mean greater access to specialist leadership, stronger support across complex projects and continuity from two people who understand their organisations, projects and priorities. The new roles allow Inovo to retain their experience while increasing capacity to support a growing portfolio of work across the South Island.
Colliers grows residential, industrial and occupier services teams
Colliers has announced three new appointments across its Auckland and Wellington offices, spanning residential projects, industrial sales and leasing, and occupier services.
Lisa Redgrove has joined the Colliers Residential Projects team in Auckland as an associate director. Redgrove brings over 20 years of industry experience and will lead brokerage activities across the Ockham portfolio, while also playing a key role in the launch and sell-down of Te Punga, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei’s masterplanned residential development in Mount Albert.
Ryan Groen has joined Colliers Wellington as an industrial sales and leasing broker, bringing 15 years of commercial property and asset management experience to the team. Having spent much of his life in the Wellington region, Groen has strong local market knowledge and will specialise in the northern corridor, from Kaiwharawhara to Plimmerton.
Laura Conquer has rejoined Colliers as an associate director in the Occupier Services team, based in Auckland CBD, having previously worked with the company as a leasing executive. Conquer brings a background in development management, commercial partnerships and the delivery of housing projects.
