Beca appoints new Managing Director – New Zealand

Beca has appointed Andrea Rickard as Managing Director – New Zealand. Andrea will be responsible for developing Beca’s New Zealand strategy, and strengthening our brand and presence in the New Zealand market.

“Andrea’s blend of strategic thinking, market focus, and absolute enthusiasm for our business combine to make her the ideal appointment for this role. I know she is looking forward to working with the amazing group of talented leaders we have in the wider New Zealand leadership team, to drive our New Zealand business forward,” Group Chief Executive Amelia Linzey says. 

Andrea is a highly experienced leader at Beca. She has been General Manager of our Transport and Infrastructure business in New Zealand for the past five years. She has more than 25 years’ experience in strategic advisory and assurance, planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects in transport, utilities and community infrastructure. 

Andrea is passionate about Beca’s standing as a company with a long history grounded in the whenua of Aotearoa.

An engineer by training, Susana has 25 years’ experience in key leadership roles in infrastructure projects, and has led high-profile and large-scale developments across aviation, transport infrastructure and defence in Australia and globally.
 
With essential projects underway across their transport network, terminals and airfield, Susana will oversee the most important upgrade in history.
