Rubix welcomes three new directors
The Rubix Auckland team is delighted to welcome three new Project Directors Michaela Cook & Simon Denny, and Senior Project Manager Sean Johnstone on board.
Michaela is a highly experienced construction Project Manager possessing 20 years of industry knowledge across both main contracting and consultancy services. With a work history covering the UK, Australia, and NZ she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from a diverse array of projects. Michaela has built a reputation for integrity, attention to detail and technical innovation and thoroughly enjoys the excitement of seeing projects in the built environment come to life.
Simon is an experienced Project Leader with 18 years of professional experience, who has successfully delivered roles across a broad range of sectors including residential, retail, education and commercial developments in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Simon’s background as a Project Director and Senior Development Manager allow him to see any given project through a wide lens.
Sean is an ambitious and motivated Project Manager with 19 years of project and construction management experience in South Africa, the Middle East and NZ. Sean has worked with both public and private organisations on multi-sector programs and projects including healthcare, leisure, education, commercial, retail and residential as Principal Project Manager, Client Representative and Engineer’s Representative.

New board chair for Warren and Mahoney

Warren and Mahoney have announced the appointment of Andrew Tu’inukuafe as the newest Chair of Warren and Mahoney Limited, continuing on from Graeme Finlay who has overseen the recent growth and development of the practice.
A member of the Board since 2021, and a Principal based in WAM’s Auckland studio since 2015, Andrew (AT) has most recently held the role of Auckland Studio Principal where he was responsible for defining and delivering on the strategy of the practice’s largest studio.
“Andrew brings a wealth of talent, insight and expertise,” says Managing Director John Coop.
“His clear strategic vision for the future and his ability to build relationships will aid Warren and Mahoney as we continue to grow, innovate, and build a strong, sustainable future.
“Graeme’s contribution to Warren and Mahoney has been immense, driving business strategy, growth and design excellence. Now at the end of his term, he hands over to Andrew who steps up as a trusted and respected member of the Warren and Mahoney team.”
