Rubix continue to grow Northland team

Rubix are excited to welcome Marc Forrester to their Northland team. 

Marc brings extensive experience in the construction and development sector, with a proven track record in project delivery, leadership, and strategic business case development. Most recently, he served as Head of Development at Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd, where he played a key role in delivering complex projects and supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening Northland’s economy.

Throughout his career, Marc has built a reputation for fostering strong team culture, empowering people, leading complex projects from concept to delivery, and ensuring development outcomes align with long-term regional growth. Congratulations, Marc.

White Associates open Christchurch Office

White Associates are excited to announce their Christchurch office is now officially open, marking an important milestone as they establish a strong foothold in the region.

Justin Bearne will be relocating to Christchurch to lead and grow local presence. In addition to running the Christchurch office, Justin will also take on the role of National Lead for Bank Funding Quantity Surveying services, further strengthening capability and focus in this space across the business.

Justin will be supported by Director Justin Maritz, ensuring continuity, depth of expertise, and strong collaboration nationwide.

Hawkins appoints South Island Regional Manager

Blair’s journey is a great example of what career growth looks like at Hawkins – building strong fundamentals, leaning into opportunities, and leading people well. A proud South Islander, and Hawkins National Engineering Manager for the past four years, Blair has extensive experience across the New Zealand construction industry, with a strong track record in engineering leadership, major project delivery, and supporting high‑performing teams.

Highly regarded for his collaborative and hands‑on approach, Blair has played a key role in shaping Hawkins’ engineering capability and supporting complex tenders and live projects across the business. Including the new Domestic Jet Terminal project, where his leadership was instrumental in setting the project up for engineering success.

Mackersy Property welcome two new Asset Managers

Andrew Wadsworth and Matt Priest join the Mackersy Property team this month.

Andrew joins in the Tauranga office as an Asset Manager. With over two decades of experience in shopping centre and asset management, he has led complex assets, major developments, and high‑performing centre teams. 

Matt also joins the Tauranga office as an Asset Manager. With broad experience managing large, complex commercial portfolios across New Zealand and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Finance, Matt brings strong analytical capability and a practical, solutions‑focused approach to asset management.
