Scott Fisher has taken over from founder Pamela Bell as chief executive of PrefabNZ.

Mr Fisher has spent 15 years in leadership roles in major membership bodies, starting as commercial manager for Loyalty NZ Ltd, moving to Peak Service GmbH as UK country manager and then scoping New Zealand & Australia for business opportunities for Peak. He followed that with 4 years at Plunket NZ as national business development manager, and 4½ years at Retail NZ, starting as commercial general manager and moving to chief executive.

Mr Fisher’s first major role for PrefabNZ will be to present its display at the BuildNZ tradeshow at the ASB Showgrounds on Sunday-Tuesday 23-25 June.

 

Congratulations to Peter Rickard-Green, who has started as Section Leader - Building Services in the New Zealand Built Environment team at Jacobs.

Peter is very excited to have joined the Jacobs family, with significant new opportunities and the remit to grow the Building Services team in New Zealand, leveraging off truly global experts and a brand with a reputation that is out of this world. (Literally, with Jacobs being the leading service provider for NASA).

Peter is a Technical Director at the forefront of architecturally integrated and sustainable Building Services Engineering, including zero carbon and large scale renewable energy projects. He has been leading a project team of over fifty engineers with a full-time reporting line of more than twenty, and been the Project Director for numerous highly successful and ground breaking multi-disciplinary projects, including structural, fire, civil, acoustics, geotechnical and digital engineering as part of the multi-billion dollar Christchurch Rebuild.
 

Graeme Ward has been appointed as associate director at RDT Pacific as the company continues to expand their expertise in the Central North Island.

Graeme has over 20 years’ experience in the design and construction industry, working as both a client and consultant. He has worked on both public and private sector projects, with expertise in strategic planning and masterplanning, long term investment planning, project management and delivery, facilities and asset management.

He has extensive experience across key sectors of education, justice and health and with organisations that are fast evolving and dynamic. Most recently, the projects he has led for the Waikato Institute of Technology in the capacity of Executive Director, Infrastructure & Assets, have received numerous awards and are both nationally and internationally recognised for their responsive design and operational effectiveness.
