Architecture firm Ignite has appointed eight new associates (above), with managing director Jeremy Whelan saying "this announcement marks a signifcant step in Ignite's evolution, as we continue a period of sustained growth". Six of the appointees are from within the Ignite business, including Brian White, Eric Tell, Shara Paulo, Neil Munro, Szymon Gozdzikowski and Nicky Taylor, while Vesna Paligora and Christopher Samuelian are new to the Ignite team.

Kiwi Property Group has appointed Clive Mackenzie (above left) as chief executive, effective July 16, replacing Chris Gudgeon (above right). Mackenzie has extensive experience in retail and mixed-use property development in New Zealand and the United States, Kiwi Property said in a release to the stock exchange. Since 2011, he has held senior roles for Westfield USA, most recently as senior vice president – development East Coast and regional leader East Coast. Prior to this, he was general manager development for Westfield New Zealand.
