Next week, Property Council will host a DevelopU professional development workshop, Inclusive Leadership in Property. But what can you expect from the day and who will you be learning from?
Meet your trainer: Joe Consedine
Modern leadership has changed, it isn’t just about titles or authority; it’s about fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. For the property sector and our organisations to flourish, we must ensure everyone feels a sense of belonging and inclusion.
This is a journey we’re all on together and it starts right here.
In the upcoming Inclusive Leadership in Property workshop on 19 August, trainer Joe Consedine will take you on a journey through the powerful perspectives and practices for creating diversity and inclusion in your organisation. From case studies to research, you’ll leave this session with the understanding, expertise, and drive to embed inclusive leadership into your day-to-day work life.
Joe is the former General Manager – New Zealand for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and is now an independent Diversity Equity and Inclusion Consultant. His mission is to help organisations create world-class workplaces of the future where inclusion sits at the heart of high performance. Joe is also the co-founder of Men as Allies, a programme designed to inspire and support men to understand the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion, and spark the motivation to actively champion it.
By the end of the session, participants can expect to:
- Know WHY inclusive leadership is becoming such an important leadership capability now and into the future.
- Understand WHAT inclusive leadership is using research and data from the London School of Economics.
- Design a specific plan on HOW you can incorporate inclusive leadership into your everyday leadership practice.
