A helping hand with embodied carbon assessment

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has released examples of embodied carbon assessments produced by members of the building and construction sector.  

This resource has been made to showcase examples of embodied carbon assessments using the Whole-of-Life Embodied Carbon Assessment: Technical Methodology which was published by Building Performance in 2022.  

Having access to this data is important to encourage behavioural shift in the sector and to ensure we have an accurate understanding of how New Zealand’s buildings are performing and how we can best build on this.
