Operational Guidelines
Internal Property Council operational documents that would be used for National and Regional Committees to ensure consistency and transparency. It would include the purpose of a committee, detailed operations, expectations of members, job descriptions for key roles, and the induction process. Approved by the National Board.

Current Committee Members

Diversity and Inclusion

The purpose of the D & I Committee is to lead the property industry in increasing diversity and inclusion.

Property Council Retail Committee

The purpose of the Retail Committee is to promote a strong and resilient retail property and shopping centre industry. Encourage place making and stronger communities.

South Island Regional Committee

The South Island Regional Committee helps to set advocacy strategy and planning/approving PCNZ activities in the South Island Region. Geographical area: The South Island, Chatham Islands and Stewart Island.

Auckland Regional Committee

The Auckland Regional Committee helps to set advocacy strategy and planning/approving PCNZ activities in the Auckland Region. Geographical area: The Northland and Auckland regions.

National Board

The Property Council New Zealand National Board consists of seven members from different membership classes, who are elected as Directors. Made up of industry leaders, influencers and decision makers, Directors lend their considerable expertise and insight to champion the interests of the commercial property industry. The National Board also elects one Intern from the Industry Leader membership class, an individual with a demonstrated commitment to the property industry looking to broaden their governance skills.

Wellington Regional Committee

The Wellington Regional Committee helps to set advocacy strategy and planning/approving PCNZ activities in the Wellington Region. Geographical area: The Wellington, Manawatū-Whanganui, Hawke's Bay and Taranaki regions.

Central Regional Committee

The Central Regional Committee helps to set advocacy strategy and planning/approving PCNZ activities in the Central Region. Geographical area: The Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne regions and all of the Taupō District.
