Property Council in collaboration with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is pleased to offer a series of training courses designed with the New Zealand commercial property sector in mind.
How a project is structured and delivered in terms of risk allocation and contractual relationships is critical to the success of a project.
Attendees to this workshop will be provided with a clear understanding of the different types of procurement and tendering commonly used in New Zealand and the advantages and disadvantages of each to the parties involved.
The session also takes a close look at the tendering process and the probity, ethics and standards expected by RICS and the legislative environment. Completion of the course contributes to attaining the Procurement and Tendering and Contract Practice competences as part of the RICS Quantity Surveying Assessment of Professional Competence.

Trainer | Stuart Bailey
This course is delivered by Stuart Bailey MRICS, an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor. With over eighteen years’ experience in the construction industry supporting the delivery of various projects; Stuart's past experience includes contract administration, client agent and Engineer to the contract through to dispute resolution. His current experience includes providing support and advice to various private and government clients in the planning and delivery of procurement services which involves primarily the development of the procurement plan.
