Successful cities across the world share a common issue - how to fund the infrastructure needed for economic and social growth and prosperity. Wellington is no exception, we’ve seen over the last decade substantial investment by both the public and private sectors into infrastructure. Despite this, Wellington is still behind the eight ball, unable to fund and build the infrastructure quick enough to meet current and future demand. The economic and social viability and success of Wellington depends on solving the infrastructure issue.

Join us and hear from our international and local speakers about how we can solve this issue.

Glenn Byres will provide the Australian perspective infrastructure planning, funding and delivery and lessons we could learn. Following this Chris Parker will provide a broad perspective of the Government’s infrastructure plans. Lastly, we hear from Steven Proctor who will discuss the role that private equity providers play in New Zealand, and how this could change in the future.
