Karen Saunders, Peacocke Programme Manager, Hamilton City Council
The Peacocke programme will deliver a new bridge, main roads, parks, and strategic water, wastewater and stormwater networks. What are the current challenges facing the development, what different approaches have been used to get this development going?
Karen will provide an update on this development and what we can look forward to in the future.
Judith Makinson, Transportation Engineering Manager, CKL
A focus on transportation and identifying how people move to and through their environment, covering topics about transport infrastructure funding, general transportation challenges for the region and what we can look forward to and should worry about in the future.
Eeva-Liisa Wright, General Manager – Infrastructure Operations, Hamilton City Council
A focus on water and the challenges with stormwater, water supply and wastewater in this fast paced growth environment the City is experiencing. Eeva-Liisa will provide updates on planning for the future, funding and challenging areas of Hamilton.
Amanda Bryan, Sustainability Leader, Jacobs
Promoting Sustainability in Property - Development utilising Principls, Rating tools and a Regenerative Lens. Amanda will be presenting on the current and emerging trends for Sustainability in Property. She will cover client key drivers in promoting sustainable development, including tools that can be utilised. Amanda will outline how using a regenerative development framework can co-create a solution to some of the key issues the Waikato region is facing; such as urban sprawl, projected population growth and existing infrastructure constraints.
