Chief Economist, ANZ NZ
Sharon joined the ANZ economics team in 2010 and became Chief Economist in late 2017. She started her career as a macroeconomist at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 1998, and has also worked at the central bank of Norway for two years, before moving to the New Zealand banking sector. Sharon holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.
Sharon developed the ANZ Truckometer, an economic indicator based on traffic flow data, and writes the weekly ANZ Charts that Matter.
Senior Director, Head of Research and Consultancy
Over more than 20 years Paul has built a distinguished career in property valuation and strategic consultancy, and now uses his analytical background to provide expert analysis and research across all sectors in New Zealand.
In terms of consultation work, during his career he has undertaken a wide range of assignments including the valuation and financial modelling of large scale residential portfolios and build to rent development opportunities, as well as analysis of the benefits of placemaking surrounding new schemes.
Prior to joining JLL he was a valuation Partner of Allsop LLP in the UK from 2009 to 2018, having been with that company since 2002. He is a General Practice Chartered Surveyor, Registered Valuer in the UK, and a Fellow of the RICS.
Paul is a confident and very experienced speaker and has held presentations at CoreNet, Hobson Wealth Partners, and JLL’s 2019 Year of Transformation event, among others.

Confirmation of registration will be sent to each attendee and an invoice/receipt will be sent to the purchaser upon check out. Please note that credit is offered to Property Council New Zealand members only, with non-members required to pay in full upon check out via credit card or POLi direct bank transfer.
Should you need to cancel your attendance, you may reassign your registration to another person by notifying the Event Manager in writing. If you are unable to arrange a replacement, a full refund will be made providing notification is received in writing at least one week prior to the event (please note that this may not be applicable for national events or Awards functions). After this date, no refunds are available. If, for reasons beyond the control of Property Council New Zealand, the event is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.
