We are the voice of property
Property Council exists to champion the property industry
Property Council was founded 42 years ago by a small group of commercial property owners who wanted a united voice that lobbied to reduce red tape and champion the property industry. It was from these humble beginnings that the foundations were laid for a successful member association that values the benefits of shared knowledge and collective capability.
Today, Property Council New Zealand represents over 550 member companies, connecting over 10,000 property professionals, who collectively own more than $50 billion worth of property nationwide.
We believe that a thriving, sustainable property industry acts as an enabler for Gross Domestic Product (GDP); creating jobs, opportunities for growth and shaping cities that are future-proofed and functional.
We aim to deliver policy outcomes to property owners, managers, investors and associates that reduce red-tape, encourage development and enable the New Zealand economy.
In support of this we conduct industry insights, and host over 100 educational and networking events every year, connecting property professionals thoughout the country and acting as a collective industry voice..
We inform, we inspire, we connect.
