Meet our speakers

Graeme McDonald (Mac to his mates) has more than 25 years’ experience as a respected property advisor and registered valuer, previously with JLL and now with Bayleys Real Estate. He has served on Property Council’s South Island regional committee for more than 20 years, including as president through the post-earthquake rebuild years, and has trained and mentored a significant number of valuation graduates over several decades. Known for his humour and willingness to put others first, Graeme is one of the unsung heroes of the South Island property sector and a legend in his own right.

Honor Millar is a senior associate in Tavendale and Partners’ property team, and at just four years post-qualification experience, already leads a team of eight lawyers. Admitted to the bar in 2020, she has moved quickly through the firm to specialise in rural property, advising landowners on high-value, complex matters spanning multiple property sectors. Her hallmark is her commitment to excellence, connection and impact.
