The New Zealand Council of Retail Property (NZCORP) is a forum of property professionals and industry leaders championing issues in the dynamic and vibrant retail sector. Formerly known as The New Zealand Council of Shopping Centres (NZCSC).

A division of Property Council New Zealand, NZCORP is governed by a committee of volunteers who are key players within the retail and shopping centre industry.

Our mission: To be an effective advocate for investors and managers to promote a better understanding of the significant contribution that retail properties make to New Zealand’s economic growth.

Priorities:

Promote a strong and resilient retail property and shopping centre industry

Encourage place making, sustained economic growth and stronger communities

Retail Conference

The NZCORP Retail Conference delivers leading edge thinking in terms of retail trends, retail marketing and the current issues facing the industry. Held annually, the conference attracts about 300 retail property professionals.

Education Programme

The NZCORP Education Programme offers a Retail Property Introduction 01 course and a Retail Property Advanced 02 course that teaches participants an overall understanding of how the retail property sector operates, the methodologies of making sound retail decisions and creating a practical toolkit for working with retailers. Both courses are run once a year, spaces are limited to 25 attendees.
