CBRE appoints residential valuation director in Auckland

CBRE has appointed Richard Vaughan as Director and Regional Manager within its residential Valuation and Advisory Services team.

Vaughan brings more than 25 years of experience in the Auckland residential property market, joining from Opteon where he spent the past 14 years focused on high-value residential property across the North Shore and Rodney District. He is the current Chair of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and also sits on the Residential Valuers’ Forum.

Leadership appointments at RDT Pacific

RDT Pacific has confirmed a series of leadership appointments as the business moves into its next phase of growth.

Andre McConnell has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Andre joined RDT Pacific in April 2023 and has been leading operations. “It’s an exciting time to be in our industry, with technology and innovation reshaping how Aotearoa New Zealand’s built environment is planned, delivered and maintained,” he says. As Andre steps into the CEO role, Liz Kose has been appointed Head of People and Operations, taking on broader operational responsibility.

Miko Brouwer has been promoted to Regional Lead, North Island, and joins the Senior Leadership Team, as part of a planned handover of regional leadership.

MinterEllisonRuddWatts promotes two new partners in construction and infrastructure

MinterEllisonRuddWatts is celebrating the promotions of Natasha Hood and Vimal Nair to Partner in its Construction and Infrastructure practice, effective 1 June 2026.

The firm’s Construction and Infrastructure team is consistently ranked Band 1 in Chambers Asia Pacific and Tier 1 in Legal 500 Asia Pacific.

Natasha Hood joined MinterEllisonRuddWatts in 2021 and brings expertise in renewable energy and infrastructure, including public-private partnerships. She has prior experience in-house at a major mining company and with a global law firm in Perth and is recognised as a Leading Associate for project development by IFLR1000.

Vimal Nair first joined the firm in 2014 and returned in May 2025 as Special Counsel after senior in-house roles in New Zealand and internationally. He specialises in large infrastructure project procurement and development, with experience spanning New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

The Building Intelligence Group welcomes André Jansen as Project Manager

The Building Intelligence Group has welcomed André Jansen to its team as Project Manager.

André brings project management and on-site expertise developed across both main contractor and consultancy environments, most recently with Cedar Tree Building Consultants where he worked in a client-side project management role. His portfolio spans residential, commercial and industrial projects in New Zealand and South Africa.

“From day one, I’ve been impressed by the professionalism, the friendliness of the team, and the strong systems supporting the business,” says André. “I’m genuinely looking forward to growing my project management career at TBIG and becoming a better version of myself along the way.”

Alan Grove leads new Veros Christchurch office

Veros is opening a new Christchurch office, strengthening its South Island presence and bringing senior property, development and project leadership closer to clients across the region.

The office will be led by Alan Grove, who joins Veros as Senior Development Manager / South Island Regional Manager. Alan will be based at QB Studios High Street in central Christchurch.

Alan brings more than 30 years’ property experience across New Zealand and the UK, including 17 years with Ngāi Tahu Property and six years with Hughes Developments delivering new communities across Greater Christchurch and the Canterbury Plains. His experience includes major projects such as Wigram Skies, Tower Junction, Faringdon, Arbor Green and Camden.

Alan says Christchurch and Canterbury are entering a strong new phase.

“Christchurch is having some well-earned time in the sun after the challenges of the last decade or so. We are seeing a more predictable market, but still with strong growth opportunities. For clients, that means good advice early, strong commercial thinking and the ability to keep projects moving through complexity.”

The new office supports Veros’ growing work with private sector clients, landowners, developers and organisations seeking commercial property advice, development management and project delivery.

With established offices in Tauranga, Hamilton and Rotorua, Veros Christchurch is an exciting next step in the company’s growth.

Colliers announces three new appointments

Colliers has announced three appointments across its investment sales, residential projects and hotels teams.

Tim Bull joins as Auckland Director of Investment Sales, bringing more than a decade of property industry experience. His appointment reflects Colliers’ commitment to recruiting market leaders and strengthening its leadership capability across the business.

Juliet Lichtenstein returns to the Colliers Residential Projects team as Associate Director. With a proven track record in off-plan sales and more than a decade of industry experience, she will support the final stages of two substantial Auckland apartment developments — York House and The Domain Collection.

Nick Thompson returns to Colliers as National Director of Hotels. With nearly 20 years of property industry experience, Thompson brings expertise across hotel sales, commercial and industrial valuations, and the tourism sector.

Laura Hebdon joins RCP as Hawke's Bay Office Manager

RCP has welcomed Laura Hebdon as its new Hawke’s Bay Office Manager.

Laura brings a background in architecture and more than a decade of experience across the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. She has developed a strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder and governance processes and manage projects from early planning through to delivery. In her new role, Laura leads RCP’s regional presence, building local relationships and driving the firm’s continued growth in Hawke’s Bay.
