New year, fresh faces

We are pleased to introduce three new staff members this month, as well as welcoming back a familiar face.

We welcome back Kelly Taylor who has joined us on a six-month contract as Member Communications Manager. Hailing from an events and communications background, you may know Kelly from her previous incarnation as South Island Branch Manager. This role will see her take charge of the Property Council website as well as all member communications. Kelly’s main objectives over the next six months will be the development of a national communications plan, the refinement and delivery of member communications and the implementation of sound systems and processes across all communication channels. Kelly is based in Christchurch and is always up for a chat.

A strong background in public relations, journalism and television production will hold Rachel MacGregor in excellent steed in her role of Public Affairs Manager. In this position, Rachel will be leading all advocacy communications, raising the profile of Property Council as “the voice of commercial property” and ensuring your voice is heard by the right people, at the right time. Rachel’s main objectives while in this role will be to attract publicity for the organisation’s key advocacy priorities, develop partnerships with media, public policy commentators and influencers and to ensure our messaging is consistent and informed. Rachel is based in National Office and should be your first port of call for all things media or PR-related.

With Auckland Branch Manager Anna Muller departing on maternity leave in mid February, we are delighted to welcome Natascha Dodson, who will be filling Anna's shoes for the coming twelve months.
Tasch joins us after eight years at Quinn Recruitment, she has decided to return to her previous life's passion as an Events Manager and looks forward to delivering an exciting schedule of Auckland events throughout 2018.

Recruitment for a Membership Manager has been completed with Harry Wright recently being appointed to the role. Harry is currently finishing a fixed-term contract with the New Zealand Dental Association where he has been the Membership Manager for a year. Prior to that Harry was a Membership Officer for the Restorative Justice Council and the Royal College of General Practitioners, both in London.

Harry will be joining us on 26 February.
