Five minutes with Natalia Tropotova

This week we welcomed a new face to Property Council's Auckland office, with Senior Advocacy Advisor Natalia Tropotova joining the advocacy team.

Natalia has a Master of Public Policy from the University of Auckland, a Bachelor of Arts (1st Class Honours) from University of Canterbury with a Major in Education and a Double Minor in Psychology and Media and Communication. She joins us from Auckland Council, with experience working as a Policy Analyst and Senior Advisor to Voter Participation. We are very excited to have Natalia on board and invite you to find out a little more about her below...

I wanted to join Property Council because…

I am passionate about policy and up for a new challenge! Property is the country's largest industry, and I am super excited to join the Advocacy team to champion and foster the health and success of the property industry in New Zealand!

I made my first dollar…

Working as a librarian at the Urals’ State University in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

One thing I am exceptionally good at…

Developing policy and playing piano (could not chose one).

One thing I am especially bad at…

Drinking only One cup of coffee a day!

My journey to get here was…

Through working in local and central government over the last four years where I have been leading a wide range of policy projects, including a long-term Golf Facilities Investment Strategy, Indicative Business Case for reconfiguration of Chamberlain Park and many others.

My biggest influence is…

My family, as I would not be where I am today without their support and encouragement.
