Otago | From Horses to Hops : A Tour of Dunedin’s Newest Microbrewery
Here is your opportunity to explore one of Dunedin’s latest heritage projects, Ian McKinlay's New New New microbrewery at 218 Crawford Street, Dunedin.
The original stables for Dunedin’s horse-drawn trams had received its death warrant. However, in 2014 the 130-year-old building was granted a stay of execution, thanks to Ian’s vision and passion.
Please join us for an informative evening discovering Ian’s journey of dreams, restoration and his future project plans. We will also hear from Charlotte McKirdy who worked with Ian and designed the restoration as part of her Bachelor of Design Degree (with Distinction) from Otago Polytechnic. This project launched Charlotte into her now full time professional career.
What better way to spend a Thursday evening, than in a stunningly restored Dunedin historic building that comes with beer on tap? From feeding and watering horses, to feeding and watering punters!
Registration includes three beer tastings and food. A cash bar will be available on entry and post our formal tasting.
