Join Tauranga Mayor Tenby Powell and Rotorua Mayor Steve Chadwick for a quick catch up to hear about the impact of COVID-19 on the Bay of Plenty and Rotorua regions.

In this interactive session, Mayors Powell and Chadwick will cover:

  • The impact of COVID-19 and their council's pandemic recovery plan
  • Rotorua's pivot to a domestic tourism destination and the potential of a "trans-Tasman bubble"
  • Updates on local developments and infrastructure projects, including those "shovel-ready" projects proposed to government

Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with our presenters directly, asking questions and providing their ideas on how to stimulate the post-covid local economy.
