Join us in the Dunedin Warehouse Precinct’s latest destination, The Bond Quarter, and experience the newly restored and repurposed heritage building, 389 Princes Street – now home to offices, apartments and neighbourhood brewery, Steamer Basin.

MC Sharon Knowles of Anderson Lloyd will lead the conversation with Dunedin City Council’s Glen Hazelton on the Precinct’s progress; Hayden Cawte, NZ Heritage Properties, on breathing new life into historic buildings; and Paul Kelly, Steamer Basin proprietor on taking a leap of faith!

Once the hub of Dunedin’s commercial and industrial growth, the Warehouse Precinct is undergoing a revival – once again attracting dynamic street and building development.
Take the opportunity to catch up with fellow property professionals over a home-grown brew, and get a taste of Dunedin’s historic heart as it transforms from yesterday into tomorrow.

Paul and Karen Kelly
Proprietors, Steamer Basin Brewery

Paul and Karen returned to Dunedin after 20 years in Hong Kong and Sydney to enjoy what they consider to be one of the world’s best small cities. They started with the idea of being a neighbourhood brewer, making beer that celebrates “our place”. Since then, they’ve been inspired by the US trend to make seasonal beer, and by the local farmer’s markets to use fresh local ingredients. Their goal is simple: make well-balanced beer that’s enjoyable to share.
