Building our Capital into a jewel
Wellington is facing enormous challenges, including our place beside a powerful Auckland and a 'rebuilding' Christchurch which are attracting the best and brightest.
As a collective voice and with collaboration, we can encourage creativity by all - owners, developers, the public and local government - to rejuvenate our creative capital. We need to encourage exceptional thinking to make the region more vibrant and alive.
I have taken on the role of Branch President with a determination that Wellington needs to 'up its game' to retain our existing population and demonstrate to others that our region is a viable place to come to live, work and play. Your Wellington Branch is taking leadership to encourage and support ideas that will help bring the city alive again - for the benefit of us all.
We can't rest on our laurels - they've been squashed. As a Branch, we're effecting change through our advocacy, event programme media work and collaboration with like-minded organisations, but we need your support.
