  Nominations are now open for our Waikato Branch's annual "We Are Waikato" awards. These awards were established last year and are intended to specifically recognise individuals and teams in the industry who have made outstanding contributions to the region.
  
  
• Discussion begins on Auckland's Unitary Plan
  Auckland Branch members met with Auckland Council's chief planning officer Dr Roger Blakeley and regional and local planning manager Penny Pirrit on Tuesday this week to discuss progress on New Zealand's first Unitary Plan.
  
  
• Bay of Plenty's Investment Seminar
  More than 50 Bay of Plenty members gathered in Tauranga earlier this week to hear the Branch's latest seminar on the economic situation for New Zealand.
