• Property Council New Zealand, Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards 2012
  § Tainui Group Holdings' retail mall Te AWA at The Base in Hamilton took home an excellence award and was judged the best development in the retail category for 2012 at the annual Property Council, Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards, held in June.

  The merging of Auckland's former councils has demanded a streamlined and unified rating policy for the whole region. This new system came into effect 1 July 2012.
